Interview with CIRCLE FOUR: AI Face Detection in Digital Art
The presentation will showcase CIRCLE FOUR's video showcasing on how facial detection intersects with identity, surveillance, and automation.
The presentation seamlessly weaves philosophical discussions on fragmented identity and the malleability of digital personas. The focus then shifts to “Anti-Surveillance Surveillance", where participants learn about interactivity in the context of a surveillance feed, challenging traditional notions and raising questions about self-commodification motivations and the feedback loop in digital culture.
Throughout, the audience become active participants, creating an immersive journey through the complex interplay of technology and philosophy. The synthesis of these elements invites reflection on the evolving relationship between humans and AI in our digital age. This presentation will be moderated by art curator, Kelly McCray.
